Obituary for Jason Scott Zumwalt
Jason Scott Zumwalt, 32, of Rantoul, passed away at 3:27 p.m. July 13, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.
Jason was born on April 20, 1990, in Urbana, the son of Scott Zumwalt and Connie Miller. He is survived by his mother- Connie Miller of Rantoul; three brothers- J.D. Zumwalt of Mahomet, Daniel Zumwalt of Mahomet and Joel Melchi of Champaign; one sister- Christina (Trevyonte Chaney) Lynch of Rantoul; three nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father- Scott Zumwalt and grandmother- Kathy Miller.
Jason worked for several years as a cook at the Apple Dumplin Restaurant. He enjoyed cooking, listening to music, anime, wolves and gaming.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Illiana Cremation Society is assisting the family with the cremation arrangements. Condolences may be shared with the family on his everlasting memorial page at: www.illianacremationsociety.com.
