Obituary for Stephen E. Burnside
Stephen Elliott Burnside, 81, of Champaign, passed away at 11:25 p.m. April 18, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Burnside was born on May 28, 1936, in Decatur, Illinois, the son of Howard and Patricia (Bear) Burnside. He married Betty (Emerine) Burnside and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by one step-son- Dave Lindsey of Urbana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister-Judy Burnside.
Mr. Burnside served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed collecting bottles and writing journals and books.
