Obituary for Scott David Chamberlain
Scott David Chamberlain, 55, of Champaign, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.
Scott was born on May 30, 1963, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Robert Allen and Pamela Lynn (Stobaugh) Chamberlain Sr. He is survived by his mother- Pamela Chamberlain of Champaign; son- Matthew (Jamaica) Rayburn of Maquoketa, Iowa; one brother- Robert Chamberlain Jr. of Marengo, Illinois; two sisters- Jennifer (Dean) Elseth of Collinsville and Amy (Pat) McConaha of Champaign; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Scott worked for many years as a truck driver. He loved riding his Harley, playing poker and going to NASCAR races.
Cremation rites will be accorded by Illiana Cremation Society, P.O. Box 1906, Danville, Illinois 61834. There are not any services scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made in Scott’s name to Carle Hospice. Illiana Cremation Society has the honor of assisting the Chamberlain family.
