Obituary for Nolda E. Sawyer
Nolda E. Sawyer, 85, of Urbana, Illinois, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2018 at her home.
Nolda was born on February 10, 1933 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of Harkless and Gladys (Adams) Crace. She is survived by five children- Mike VanDeWalker of Danville, Illinois, Kelly VanDeWalker of Carmel, Indiana, Gregory VanDeWalker of Georgetown, Illinois, Sheila Spencer of Westville, Illinois and Cathleen Sawyer of Urbana, Illinois; four grandchild; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother- Forney Crace.
Nolda enjoyed volunteering her time as a Girl Scout Leader and Den Mother for Boy Scouts. She was an avid reader. Memorials may be made to in care of The Nolda Sawyer Family.
