Obituary for Michael P. Williams
Michael Paul Williams, formerly of Watseka and Sheldon, Illinois, Son of Russell and Cora Williams(Enlow), who have preceded him in death, was born October 27th,1953, in Watseka, Illinois. He passed away at his home November 27, 2019 in Rantoul, Illinois.
Also preceding Michael in death were Niece Shelley Hendricks and Nephew Steven Smith.
Michael was a Brother to Mary Stroh of Alexander City, Alabama; George Williams of Woodland, Illinois; and
Robin Bohlmann(Scott) also of Woodland, Illinois.
He was a Father to Misty Vrablic(Brad) of Homer, Illinois; Kyle Vaughn(Bethany) of Indianapolis, Indiana;
Aaron Williams of Champaign, Illinois; and Dustin Williams(Megan) of Columbia, South Carolina
Grandchildren include Marissa Harlin, Weston Rollings, Boston, and Keely Williams, and
Colton, Kylie, and Kenzie Vaughn.
Great-Grandchildren include Bryson Williams, Olivia, and Harrison Harlin and Kennedy Williams.
He was an Uncle to five nieces and two nephews.
Michael was a long-time butcher at Berry's Processing and Papineau Meat Locker. He loved the outdoors. If he wasn't hunting or fishing, he was in the yard planting and gardening or canning his own bounty and cooking. He enjoyed watching old westerns and football- his favorite team being the Colts. He took great pride in raising his two dogs, Miya and Chester and even won several competitions. Michael loved his family and always enjoyed spending time with them.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 pm at the Faith Church located at 2111 N. Willow Rd., Urbana, Illinois with a small service to follow at 3:00 pm. Illiana Cremation Society is assisting the family with the arrangements.
