Obituary for Betty Jean Comstock
Betty Jean Comstock, 64, of Hoopeston, passed away at 1:32 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital, in Urbana.
She was born on April 18, 1960, in Chaffee, Missouri, the daughter of William and Nancie (Hardwick) Sanford. In 1978, Betty married Eddie Comstock, in Hoopeston. He survives.
She is survived by two sons- Tony (Suzette) Comstock of Billings, Montana and James (Samantha) Comstock of Danville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers- Ed (Robin) Sanford, Carl (Marla) Sanford and Brian (Diane) Snyder; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-Bill Sanford and sister- Anita Hardwick.
Betty attended Hoopeston High School. She enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
